As part of the Fort Mason Center Presents series World Arts West and Tango & More Argentine Dance's artistic director Pampa Cortes present Our Feet Speak the Rhythm of Our Hearts. This show focuses on dances highlighting footwork: La Tania (Spain),Ballet Pampa Argentina, Valverde Dance (Peru), and Ensambles Ballet Folklorica de San Francisco (Mexico), Barbary Coast Cloggers(USA), Momento de Pampa Cortes (Argentina).

A flamenco dance and music performance, featuring 6 dancers, 2 singers, violin andguitar

La Tania, an award winning and internationally acclaimed dancer and choreographer, presents the premier of  Despertar es un Color, featuring six accomplished dancers and the accompaniment of a deeply moving trio of voice, guitar and violin. This production displays the quintessential roots of Flamenco in the solos of La Tania and company dancers, while taking an innovative approach with ensemble work. Joining the cast on stage are acclaimed guest singers Felix de Lola and Kina Mendez, guitarist Roberto Aguilar and violinist Tregar Otton.
